9/11 Anniversary Commemoration

Twenty-five years later, we remember.

Carteret Community College invites you to join our campus and community as we gather to commemorate the anniversary of September 11, 2001.

Together, we will pause to remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost, honor the courage and sacrifice of the first responders and service members who answered the call, and recognize the countless families and communities whose lives were forever changed.

For those who remember that day, September 11 remains a moment we will never forget. For a new generation born after 2001, this commemoration is also an opportunity to carry forward the stories of courage, compassion, service, and unity that emerged from one of our nation's darkest days.

We invite our students, employees, first responders, veterans, families, and members of the community to stand together in remembrance.

We remember those we lost. We honor those who served. And together, we ensure that we never forget.
