Fire & Form: Metal Art For Beginners

This hands-on creative welding class introduces students to the artistic side of metal fabrication using both a plasma torch and an oxy-acetylene torch. Designed for beginners and hobbyists, the course blends safety, technical fundamentals, and artistic exploration. Participants will learn how to safely cut, shape, texture, and manipulate steel into simple but expressive metal art pieces — laying the foundation for more advanced sculptural and artistic welding projects. By the end of the course, students will complete small metal art projects and gain confidence working with heat, flame, and form. No prior welding experience required. All supplies will be provided.
