English as a Second Language (ESL) Orientation

Carteret's English as a Second Language (ESL) program helps adults strengthen their English language skills while building the confidence needed to succeed at work, in education, and in everyday life. Through supportive, tuition-free instruction, students develop practical skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing that can open doors to greater opportunities in the community and workforce.

ESL Orientation is the first step to getting started. During orientation, students will learn about the program, complete required assessments, and receive information about classes and available College resources.
